One name, one approach, two coastlines

Barcelona and Seseh don’t have much in common on the surface — one is a European city, the other a quiet Balinese beach village. But the idea behind Hello Lash Lifting was never about a particular city. It was about an approach: careful technique, an unhurried pace, and a studio environment built around calm rather than volume. That approach is what made the move to Bali make sense.

Why open in Seseh specifically

Bali’s south coast has no shortage of beauty studios, many of them clustered in busier hubs like Canggu and Seminyak. Seseh offered something different — a slower village setting close enough to those areas to be convenient, but calm enough to match the pace we wanted for every appointment. What actually travelled from Barcelona

• The technique. The Lash Lift and Brow Lamination methods used in Seseh follow the same standards as the original studio.
• The pace. Appointments are unhurried by design, not squeezed between back-to-back bookings.
• The setting. A minimalist, quiet space, rather than a busy salon floor — in Barcelona or in Bali.

A studio doesn’t need a long history to have a clear point of view — ours has simply been to do less, more carefully.

Two coastlines, one point of view

Barcelona built its reputation around a Mediterranean pace — treatments that took their time, a studio that felt more like a quiet room than a salon counter. Bringing that to Bali didn’t mean recreating the city itself, which would have made little sense here. It meant recreating the feeling: a space where a Lash Lift or Brow Lamination isn’t squeezed into a rushed slot between two other clients, but treated as the main thing happening in that hour.

Two studios, not a chain

Hello Lash Lifting isn’t a large chain expanding city by city — it’s two studios, on two different coastlines, run with the same standards. That’s a deliberate choice as much as a practical one. Keeping things small means the technique and the pace of each appointment can stay consistent, rather than diluting as a brand grows. Seseh isn’t a franchise outpost of Barcelona; it’s a second home for the same approach.

Being honest about what we know

We’d rather stay accurate than embellish. We don’t publish an exact founding date, a named founder story, or a catalogue of milestones for the Barcelona studio — those details aren’t something we’re putting in writing here. What we can say plainly is that the brand began there, grew enough to open a second location, and chose Seseh, Bali for that next chapter.

It would be easy to fill in the gaps with a tidier story — a founding year, a founder’s name, a neat anecdote about the first client. We’re choosing not to, because we’d rather our clients trust what’s on this page than be impressed by details we can’t stand behind. What clients notice instead

In practice, most people don’t ask about the studio’s history in much depth — what they notice is how the appointment itself feels. A calm room, a therapist who isn’t rushing to the next booking, a result that looks like a subtler, lifted version of their own lashes or brows. That’s the throughline between Barcelona and Bali, more than any specific date or name would be.

The Seseh studio today

Day to day, the Bali studio is run by Dinda and Risma, trained beauty therapists who bring that same technique and unhurried approach to every Lash Lift, Korean Lash Lift and Brow Lamination appointment on Jalan Pantai Seseh. The location changed. The point of the studio hasn’t.
